Vintage Original 1900s Miniature 6.5" American Girl Doll Meet Josephina Book Retried Rare, 6.5" doll, retired, the 'Original' 1st Edition, Vintage, 1900's JOSEPHINA with her book in the original double boxed set.  You can tell by her eyes, the new ones have 'painted eyes' the original ones have 'plastic inset eyes (see last picture).  The whole idea of the miniature dolls was to be 'dolly's' for the 18" large American Girl Dolls to play with, that's where the 2 boxes comes in, one historical & the other American Girl.  She's a darling little doll with a long braid and period dress & shoes.  Previously owned, excellent, mint condition, double boxed set.  Truly a treasure to add to ones collection.
